Do you want to run a 5k race? This 12-week progressive program will take you from walking to running a 5k. Whether you’re completely new to running or getting back to it, this program is for you.
The program is designed around 3 workouts per week. One session per week will be completed as a group and you will complete 2 homework sessions on your own. Each weekly session will also include a short education session designed to give you the info you need to achieve your goal of running a 5k with confidence. Topics covered include but are not limited to: proper footwear, stretching, injury prevention, injury management, strength training, basic nutrition & hydration. No running experience necessary! Participants should be comfortable walking for 40 minutes to start. Clinic registration includes a technical t-shirt!
