You’ve reached 5k or 10k, signed up for a 1/2…now what? This 16-week program is for those who have completed the Learn to Run (or who currently run 5-10k already) and would like to have support to build up their running endurance and train for 10k’s and 1/2 Marathons. Program will include more advanced run training (aka: hills, speed work and tempo training). 5k-10k build, 10k maintenance and 1/2 marathon distance training programs will be provided for non-clinic runs. 10k and 1/2 marathon runners are encouraged to also participate in the Super You Run Crew on Sunday mornings at 8am (more info below). Sunday group runs will be optional and will include a route map for all training distances. This clinic is specifically will have pace groups for the 5-6min/km and 6-7+min/km (two clinic leaders). Those interested in the 1/2 marathon build should have a solid base of 10k prior to the start of their preferred clinic. Run clinic fee includes a technical t-shirt

Clinic runs on Tuesday nights @7pm and meets at Frontrunners Nanaimo. There are 4 start-up dates in 2016 for Run Strong. Start up Depends on your Goal Race.

Times Colonist (10k): Jan 5 – Apr 19 (Race day April 24)

BMO Vancouver Marathon (1/2 Marathon): Jan 5 – Apr 19 (Race day May 1)

Victoria Goddess Run (10k or 1/2 Marathon): Feb 16 – May 31 (Race day June 5)

Sea Wheeze 1/2 Marathon: April 26 – Aug 9 (Race day Aug 13)

Good Life 1/2 Marathon: June 21 – Oct 4 (Race day Oct 9)
